Walker, First Lady
Lady Walker holds the esteemed title of First Lady at Friendly Temple Church of God in Christ. She is renowned as a fervent prayer warrior devoted to the Lord, her family, church, and community. Revered for her creativity, sensitivity, humor, love, and compassion, Lady Salana is the cornerstone of our congregation. Her faith and commitment to serving others inspires us all to walk in the footsteps of love and kindness.
A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, she finds fulfillment in the field of education, particularly working with children with special needs.
Within our church, Lady takes on the role of President of Friendly Temple’s Women's Department, driven by her profound love for women's spiritual and personal growth. In pursuit of this mission, she has founded several impactful ministries, including "Ladies We Need A Break" to nurture deeper connections with God, "The Best Wine Marriage & Relationship Conference" aimed at fortifying marriages, and "First Lady Friends" offering support to Leading Ladies and Senior Pastors' Wives.
Alongside her husband, Bishop E. M. Walker, Lady Salana shares an undying love and is blessed with five children and three grandchildren.
